 CCCPA’s
Entrepreneur Club held a “Business Environments and Opportunities
in China” group seminar on Saturday July 26. We have invited
Mr. Gao, Yun bin from Shenyang who currently is attending the
MBA class at Roosevelt University; Mr. Yan, Jianlin, a former
research staff at the Shanghai Municipal Planning Commission;
and Dr. Derek Hu, CCCPA president, to speak on how Chinese entrepreneurs
in China and in America may leverage their respective competencies
to cooperatively develop business opportunities in China and
America.
Our first speaker, Mr.
Gao , described and gave a digital graphical tour of the 3D
solid imaging and Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems jointly
developed by Shenyang Zhong Xin Technologies Corporation,
Dong Bei University Advanced Manufacturing Automation Reasearch
Institute and SolidWorks Corporation. He illustrated powerful
design capabilities of the advanced CAD system with demonstrations:
(1) a walk-through of the design process of a 3D standard
machinery tools warehouse, (2) a 3D dynamic graphic simulation
of an Instesoll blower, (3) computer-aided design of an intelligent
elevator system.
 Our
second speaker, Mr. Yan, Jialing, overview with much detail
Shanghai’s business development directions and outlook.
He has set up a corporation in the US and will be glad to
assist with his people relational networking expertise businessmen
and entrepreneurs who are interested in conducting business
in China.
 Our
last speaker, Dr. Hu, presented his finding on “IT Outsourcing
– Challenges and Opportunities”. During the discussion,
the issue of competitiveness of India and China in IT outsourcing
was briefly examined.
About thirty five CCCPA members
participated in enthusiastic discussions and exchange of ideas.
Most indicated to Mr. Ben Gao, who hosted the seminar, that
they anticipated more such seminars available in the future.
